I have been taking photos of the Orkney Islands most of my life, but only in the last 10 years on a commercial basis. I am a freelance graphic designer producing a wide variety of products from simple business cards, posters, leaflets etc to booklets, brochures, large display graphics and increasingly these days - websites.
Photography features strongly in my work "a picture paints a thousand words" as they say, and I have built up a substantial library of images (60,000 at the last count), and continue to build on this as time/work allows.
Much of my photography is driven by the particular jobs I'm working on and as a result commercial operations and product shots feature a lot in my collections.
Commissions welcome - working on an hourly rate rather than price per picture.
